Case Studies from the APAC Region: Christopher Dorn Presents at ExhibitorLive

January 25, 2016, Osaka Japan. Christopher Dorn, President, Idea International based in Osaka, will join the faculty at ExhibitorLive once again. He is scheduled to present two sessions that will detail the challenges and opportunities in exhibiting in two countries—India and Australia–where the growth of the trade show industry is phenomenal.

The first session, a Profile in Excellence, is “Medtronic: Exhibiting in India.” Using Medtronic’s presence at APHRS, Christopher and Jill Schmitt, senior manager of global conventions at Medtronic, will give attendees a candid look at exhibiting in India and use their real life experiences to illustrate the process. The session, M501, will be held Monday, February 29, from 3:45-5:15 PM.

The second session, “Exhibiting Down Under: Australia Is Calling,” will share the benefit of Christopher’s many journeys to help exhibitors in the various convention venues across a continent that is a single country. He will be joined by Kelli Steckbauer, vice president, operations, at MG Design. This session, T504, will be held Tuesday, March 1, from 3:45-5:15.

He will also facilitate a round table on Tuesday afternoon, “Everything You Ever Wanted to Know about Exhibiting in the APAC Region” (TP4).

“Today everything is global,” Dorn says. “To think of trade shows as merely domestic projects is to lose sight of world markets that have opened up to every industry. The APAC region offers unbelievable growth for exhibitions.”
