Rather than Exhibiting at Computex Taiwan, Micron opted for a series of VIP Events that Moved to Three Different Venues over the Course of the Show<\/h1>\n

Purpose:<\/h3>\n

Idea International designed a unique event solution for Boise, Idaho-based Micron in Taipei. Crucial, Micron’s global consumer brand of computer memory and storage, wanted to promote its Crucial Ballistix at Computex Taiwan. (Crucial is a global brand of Micron Technology, Inc, producing solid-state drives (SSDs) and memory (DRAM) upgrades.)<\/p>\n

The Ballistix gaming memory product portfolio is the fastest available on the market and sets the standard for extreme-performance memory, particularly important in gaming. Thi high-performance memory has set overclocking* world records. Crucial Ballistix memory delivers a performance edge to gamers, enthusiasts, and power users.<\/p>\n

Like Micron’s top products and solutions for enterprise and personal computing, Crucial gaming memory is purpose-built, making it the only gaming memory that’s vertically integrated. This unique approach is unmatched by competitors, allowing Ballistix to deliver blazing fast speeds to hardcore gamers and maximized results to overclocking enthusiasts.<\/p>\n

Solution:<\/h3>\n

Rather than exhibiting at Computex Taiwan, Micron opted for a series of VIP events that moved to three different venues over the course of the show\u2014from a hotel suite to a hotel ballroom and then to a private meeting room. Using spaces at both the Grand Hyatt Taipei and the Taipei World Trade Center. By staging this unique event, Micron could effectively target the audience it wanted to reach.<\/p>\n

[vc_column_text]The event was themed with “tough guy” imagery to underscore the product’s power and remind attendees of the gaming application. The same is true of the “Built to Win” tagline. You can see how this theme was carried through in the photos and drawings.
